The 16th annual one-day conference on Cognitive
Remediation in Psychiatry will be held in New York City on Friday, June 7th, 2013.
This year features presentations on a range of topics of interest to researchers and clinicians who have an interest
in behavioral interventions for cognitive deficits in persons with psychiatric illness.
We are requesting poster submissions for the conference. If you or your
students are conducting work in cognitive rehabilitation in psychiatry we encourage you to submit. Poster
submissions must be submitted via the cognitive remediation in psychiatry website www.cognitive-remediation.org,
by February 15, 2013 for notification by February 22, 2013.
Submitted abstracts should include a title, as well as names, highest academic degrees and affiliations of all authors.
A corresponding author should be designated on the abstract, and a complete mailing address, e-mail address and FAX
number should be included for this author. Abstracts should include a statement of a hypothesis, description
of subjects and procedures, and a brief description of results.
poster sessions will be held at noon during the lunch hour. Poster presentations will be relaxed and presenters
will have a nice opportunity to share their work with other researchers interested in similar issues. In
addition, one of the conference sponsors, the Alliance for the Study of Cognitive Disorders, will be awarding a prize for
the best student poster (postdoctoral fellow or graduate student).
If you have questions about poster submission guidelines you may contact Dr. Matthew
Kurtz at email@example.com.
